Pendulum Dowsing

Pendulum Dowsing - as the name suggests - it's dowsing using a pendulum as opposed to using divining rod, a bobber, etc.

From my experience - almost anybody can get a basic dowsing reaction and pendulum dowsing is one technique that can be successfully used by the beginners and the professional dowsers.

You can start by holding the pendulum between your thumb, index and middle fingers, two to three inches from the top of the pendulum. (See the picture to the left). Next - give it a slight push so it starts swinging - feel it, observe it. Now - ask to show you a "yes" response. The pendulum will start moving - make a note of the movement. Do the same for a "no"answer.

If your pendulum is not moving much - try to relax, try not to control the movement, take a few deep breaths, drink a glass of water and try again.

The way the pendulums move for you for the "yes" and "no" answers is individual to you. It could be back and forth or clockwise for "yes" or side-to-side or counterclockwise for a "no". Use whatever is comfortable to you, just remember to stick to it.
